Good men do exist.

The right one will come when God is done working on you and him.

Great men do exist. Great godly men at that. When I was walking through singleness after a heartbreak, I remember telling myself that I wasn’t going to get married. I wanted to remain bitter. I wanted to believe that all men were trash. I remember one instance when my friend was trying to connect me & her friend. Between the random getting to know you texts, I told him I was saving myself for my husband.

Always seems to turn men away lol the next day he went ghost on me. If that didn’t already prove my theory that there wasn’t any good men 😩😂 I don’t know what else would. To make a long story short, although I didn’t have the best experiences with men, I came across one that changed my whole perspective on men. He honored my decision & didn’t run the other way. Lol 8 years later, I’m glad we became friends & didn’t let my stank attitude toward men block my biggest blessing.

For those waiting or single, I encourage you to challenge yourself to stop walking around with a bad attitude believing that all men are trash. Because there are good godly men out there. Change your mindset & let God heal you from past experiences that caused your heart to harden. Know that your next may not be like your last. And it’s okay to take time to be alone. Take ALL the time you need to heal & get to know/love yourself. The right one will come when God is done working on you & him. #theRushes
